First 5 Mono County is hiring a Peapod Playgroup Leader to establish, develop, facilitate, and implement parent/child playgroups.

Peapod Playgroups offer children aged 0-6 and their parents groups led by experienced leaders who provide parenting support, referrals, and education. Peapod Leaders should have experience in early childhood development and group facilitation skills involving parents and young children. We currently have a position open as a Co-Leader for the Mammoth Lakes English Peapod group.

Enrollment is now open for the Fall Session of the Mammoth Lakes Peapod Playgroup.

Peapod Playgroups offer a chance for young children—and their parents—to play and socialize. Play mats, tunnels and tents give children a stimulating atmosphere to play with their peers, while parents get a much welcomed chance to chat with other parents about the joys and challenges of parenting.  All Mono County families with children birth to kindergarten entry are eligible to enroll.

If you are interested in signing up for the 10 week Fall Session of the Mammoth Lakes Peapod Playgroup, please follow the directions on the enrollment form. Enrollment will be limited to 15 families.
